Christian Novel Review

Having always been an avid reader, since becoming a Christian I have found a wealth of reading material in Christian bookshops and in various second hand bookshops. I have found that in Christian novels one often finds truths that help in one’s Christian walk. I enjoy reading about how the various characters deal with life, and I also find I am the richer for reading a really good Christian novel. Certain authors, through their books, give you a real insight into their joys and struggles, which I find very interesting. The books which I am going to review are those which I have really enjoyed, and have read at least twice – some books, for example the “Mark of the Lion “ series by Francine Rivers, I have read at least five times each. FATAL COVER-UP by LISA HARRIS

I really enjoyed FATAL COVER-UP by LISA HARRIS, as I have all the books I have read by her. The story is set in Italy, and the Author makes us really feel we are in the beautiful cities of Rome, Florence and Venice, as we follow Talia Morello and Joe Bryant on their quest to find some stolen paintings.
Both Talia and Joe have suffered the loss of people who were important to them, and I like the way this is dealt with in the novel. This is really the main Christian message here - bad things happen, even to good people, because of the wickedness of man. It is not God who causes these things to happen, but He makes a way for His children to overcome their grief and carry on living their lives. He can bring good out of anything, and we see this happening for Talia and Joe.
I can highly recommend this novel for the exciting story and excellent Christian message.
